What is Zong Lu Pi?:

The Chinese Herb Zong Lu Pi is the dried fibers from sheath of the leaves (i.e. the stipule) of the Chinese windmill palm tree (Trachycarpus fortunei H. Wendl.) which grows all over East and Central China where the winters do not get too harsh. These fibers are gathered in the winter and carbonized/charred for use as medicine.

Zong Lu Pi restrains leakage and stops bleeding and is best for use in cases where there is bleeding without blood stagnation (if used in cases where there is blood stagnation it must be combined with herbs that invigorate the blood and stop bleeding).
