What is Wu Jia Pi?:

The Chinese Herb Wu Jia Pi is the dried root bark of Acanthopanax Gracilstylus, a species of eleutherococcus that grows widely across Southern China. The roots are harvested in the summer and autumn, sun-dried and then cut into thick pieces for use as medicine.
