Qian Li Guang clears heat and eliminates toxins and is used both internally and externally to treat dermatological disorders (e.g. carbuncles and eczema) as well as internally to treat diarrhea and dysentery.
Qian Li Guang clear heat from the Liver channel with the action of brightening the eyes (i.e. it subdues Liver Fire/Liver Yang rising). It can also be used singly as an eyewash for redness, swelling, itching, and dryness of the eyes.
