What is Ma Ti Jin?:
The Chinese Herb Ma Ti Jin is the dried aerial parts of (Dichondra repens Forst.), a perennial herb with small, kidney shaped leaves that tends to creep along the ground (and is thus often used as ground cover to substitute for lawn grass) and is also cultivated as an ornamental hanging plant. It is native to Australia and New Zealand but has become naturalized in China and used there as medicine for hundreds of years.
