Da Hui Xiang enters the Liver and Kidney channels to dispel cold and address such cold-related disorders as abdominal pain, hernial pain, prolapse, and swelling and pain in the scrotum.

Salt-fried Da Hui Xiang enters the Kidney channel to warm the Kidney and dispel “prickly” lower back pain (from deficiency).

Da Hui Xiang regulates qi stagnation in the middle jiao to treat abdominal bloating and pain, lack of appetite, nausea, and vomiting.
